Relative Therapies now has Holistic Counsellor, Beverley Friedlos, working as part of their team:
Holistic Counselling seeks to understand and treat the whole person not just their particular symptoms. The counsellor explores a person’s physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social situation to help them recognise the source/cause of their issues or distress. The counsellor can then help the client to develop strategies to overcome and cope with their situation. Beverley Friedlos is a qualified Holistic Counsellor with a Diploma in Health Science (Holistic Counselling Practices) from the Australian College of Natural Medicine, and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association. She also holds a B.A. (Hons) degree from the UK as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources. Beverley has over 20 years experience as an HR professional in Australia and the UK and has extensive experience of counselling in a range of personal and work-related issues including:

  • Stress and anxiety management
  • Relationship and midlife issues
  • Work-life balance and other work issues
  • Career counselling
  • Grief and loss, and
  • Women’s health issues.

Beverley is a caring and attentive practitioner who can draw on a wide range of skills and experience to help her clients achieve their full potential and bring balance, confidence and well-being back into their lives which will enable them to cope with current and future issues more effectively. Sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Beverley uses a person-centred approach to counselling: her role is to listen to you in a caring, non-judgemental way; and help you identify options and alternatives to address your issues.
